something i don't think many people realize yet is that zcash doesn't need all that many finalizers/nodes/miners to protect users against targeted censorship why? because enabling e2e encryption at the base layer fundamentally changes the targeted censorship attack vectors against a shielded zec user vs a bitcoin/ethereum/solana user (neither the nodes, the miners, or even the receiver receive any information about a z-> z transfer; the receiver only sees that they've received funds) in @ebfull's words: "there is no quantum computer or powerful AI that will be able to look back at the Zcash blockchain 1000 years from now and figure out who made every fully shielded transaction. That information, among other things, never even touches the ledger.
