STOP BEING POOR ✋ The best yields in DeFi are on @berachain, and wgBERA is printing. The Balancer hack left us untouched, wgBERA is pegged (meaning minting is better than swapping), and new pools are unlocking insane yields. Here’s what’s cooking in the Smilee kitchen 🧵

1/6 As you may already know, three of our main pools were hosted on BeraHub: the Rainbow, the Shadow, and the Harmony; all paired against sWBERA (the native staking token). All of them were left untouched by Balancer hack, as they were Weighted pools (not Composable Stable) 🧐

2/6 These pools remain important within the overall Smilee strategy and won’t be deprecated. We’re waiting for more info from the @berachain team, but we’re confident they’ll be unlocked soon. In the meantime, BGT is still flowing for those who are locked in (literally) 🔐

4/6 The more wgBERA is minted, the stronger the gFund becomes, ultimately unlocking even higher yields thanks to greater bribing power and our validator. Right now, the most interesting pool in terms of APR is the wgBERA/iBGT, yielding over 200%:

5/6 Meanwhile (not counting the BeraHub pools), the eWBERA-4/wgBERA pool on @winnieswap is yielding over 60% BGT APR, similar to the stBGT/wgBERA pool on @KodiakFi. We’re also deprecating iBERA/wgBERA pool, so be quick to withdraw and reposition yourself in the new pools 🦆
