crypto card usage has been increasing throughout 2025
@raincards has the most volume and if you've never heard of them, you're not alone. But they're the card infra providers for:
• EtherFi
• Avalanche
• Kast
• and more
quite interesting to see crypto card products take off and reaching over $375m in monthly transactions. this is possibly the first product that has transcends both crypto and the world around us

Alright, so I’ve been thinking of getting a crypto debit card for a while and since I ended up digging through the options, figured I’d share what I found
These aren’t all the card products out there, just the ones that made the most sense for me being based in asia
• Custody Type
personally I prefer non-custodial setups. If something happens, at least I still hold the keys.
custodial cards aren’t terrible, but it’s the usual not your keys, not your coins
@gnosispay's hybrid model is interesting though. It uses multisigs and time-delay modules for extra safety
• Fees
@BasedOneX and Gnosis Pay come out about even on fees for usage. @RedotPay sits in the middle, still decent pricing with @useTria being the most expensive of the lot
• KYC
all of them require full KYC. No way around it
• Regions
most of these work in asia in some form.
Gnosis Pay is expanding soon into LATAM and asia.
Based is relaunching at the end of november but will no longer support singapore
The chart below breaks it all down; custody type, costs, fees, KYC, and supported regions. Might save you some time if you’ve been considering one too
Have you guys been considering getting your own crypto card?
